Expect Weekend Green Line Delays Jan. 13-Feb. 17

If you ride the Green Line on Saturdays and Sundays, expect delays for six consecutive weekends from Jan. 13 through Feb. 17 due to work on Interstate 345.

The Texas Department of Transportation plans repairs to the Interstate 345 bridge over DART’s Green Line tracks near downtown Dallas during that time. This will interrupt Green Line weekend service between Victory and Deep Ellum stations, requiring passengers to use DART shuttle buses on all Saturday and Sunday trips.

Two shuttle routes will be in service on Saturdays and Sundays. One will operate non-stop between Victory and Deep Ellum, while a second will also serve Victory and Deep Ellum, but with stops at West End, Akard, St. Paul and Pearl/Arts District stations.

Trains will remain in operation between Buckner and Deep Ellum and between North Carrollton/Frankford and Victory stations.

Red, Blue and Orange line service will not be disrupted. However, Green Line customers are encouraged to allow extra travel time.

For more information on how to plan your trip during these six weekends, call 214-979-1111 to speak with DART’s Customer Information Center Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. or Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
