DART cares about our customers and your ability to use public transportation during this challenging time. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, DART is relaxing the requirements for you to qualify for the new Discount GoPass® Tap Card Program. Got questions about the new tap card? We've got answers.

Question:

Can I apply for the Discount GoPass Tap card if I have applied for assistance from a qualifying agency, but I haven’t been approved yet?

Answer:
If you have applied for benefits from any of the eight qualifying assistance agencies, you now are eligible to receive the 50%-off discounted DART fare.

Bring a photo ID and proof of your assistance application to DARTmart to apply for the Discount GoPass Tap card. If you applied for assistance online, bring a printout confirming the application was submitted. If you applied in person, bring a photocopy of the completed agency-issued application (with logo).

This new process will remain in effect until further notice. For more information and answers to additional questions, call DART Customer Service at 214-979-1111.
