Midsummer has arrived, and it’s time to show some love for the red, white and blue. Celebrate with a bang! North Texans have lots of DARTable opportunities this Fourth of July.

July 3

Addison Kaboom Town® features an award-winning fireworks display, live music and a spectacular air show. It’s at Addison Circle Park, adjacent to the Addison Transit Center..

Farmers Branch’s Independence Day Celebration is a spectacular fireworks show accompanied by a high-energy dance band and more. It takes place at Farmers Branch Historical Park, near Farmers Branch Station.

Plano Community Band Patriotic Pops is a great community event taking place at Haggard Park, right next to Downtown Plano Station.

July 4

Independence Day Parade & Reception/Fireworks Show at scenic Lake Carolyn is a spectacular way to celebrate Independence Day. It’s near Las Colinas Urban Center Station.

Fair Park Fourth salutes America’s independence right in the middle of the city with family activities, concerts, rides and fireworks. Either Fair Park or MLK, Jr. stations will put you right there.

Rowlett Freedom 5K on Main is an opportunity to celebrate our country’s birthday by walking or running. The event includes a 1- Mile Fun Run, and a portion of proceeds benefit American Cancer Society Relay for Life Strollers! It starts at 7 a.m. at the Rowlett Chamber of Commerce, just across the street from Rowlett Station.
