Southern Dallas locals discovered where the new South Oak Cliff Blue Line extension can take them during Community Fun Day at the new Camp Wisdom Station Saturday, Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Visitors enjoyed local music, face paintings, food trucks and a trackless train, and the opportunity to engage with organizations in the area.

Vendors such as ShaDub Fitness Zumba, Unlocking Doors and Workforce Solutions of Greater Dallas informed guests of the educational, vocational and health services in the area that are accessible by riding the DART System.

Guests also mingled with representatives from higher education institutions, including the University of North Texas at Dallas and Paul Quinn College.

Today is the first day of service for the Blue Line extension into South Oak Cliff. Experience how DART can take you to the new UNT Dallas and Camp Wisdom stations.
