Texas-OU Game Day Tip: Plan Ahead

tx-ou-10-11-14_18-reducedSome call it a rivalry, others a shootout, still others a showdown. Most people call it Texas-OU or OU-Texas, depending on which team you’re rooting for. When the annual football game between the Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners takes place at the Cotton Bowl this Saturday, Oct. 8, you can avoid calling it a mess with a little preparation.

The large number of riders that day will have an impact on service throughout the DART System beginning four hours before the 11 a.m. kickoff until three hours after the final play. Customers who depend on bus-to-rail connections should start trips at least an hour earlier than normal.

Save Time with the GoPass℠ App
You can save time and money when you purchase your State Fair of Texas tickets and DART passes with the GoPass app. Set up your GoPass account and buy your tickets in advance, but DON’T activate them until the day you go to the fair. The app is free through the Google Play store or the App Store.
