Drink a beer and feed a kid! Come join us for the 1st Annual Farmers Branch Young Professionals DART Crawl to benefit Metrocrest Services Sack Summer Hunger Program. Sponsored by DART, the event will be held June 11, with a noon registration.
The DART Crawl starts at Farmers Branch Station, and departure is at a 1:20 p.m. The first stop is at Victory Station. Participants will visit Shooters, a casual restaurant and lounge located across the street from the American Airlines Center.
Next, participants train over to St. Paul Station, and from there it’s a brisk walk or trolley ride to Klyde Warren Park – an urban oasis in the middle of the city. The pub crawl continues with a train ride to Deep Ellum Station, and a final bar visit to Anvil Pub – a hip Irish pub known for over-the-top Bloody Mary’s and updated pub fare from a greaseless kitchen.
The cost is $25 per person if you are a member of the Farmers Branch Chamber of Commerce. Nonmembers pay just $5 more. The cost includes one DART pass and one domestic beer at each DART stop.
There also will be a scavenger hunt on the June 11 DART Crawl. Click here for more details and to register.
