Bike to Work Day and DART Energizer Stations this Friday!

BikeCommuterEnergizerStation_2016_ALLSTOPSDART encourages commuters to get it in gear and get ready for national Bike to Work Day, Friday, May 20.

Before heading to work, stop by one of eight energizer stations set up by DART and local bike enthusiasts. Get information on local area bike shop partners along with free bike tune-ups, treats, promotional items and tips on safety from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Energizer stations for 2016 will be at the following DART stations:
· Addison Transit Center
· Arapaho Center (Richardson)
· Downtown Plano
· Downtown Rowlett
· Farmers Branch
· St. Paul (Downtown Dallas)

Energizer stations also will be at Trinity Railway Express’ Downtown Irving/Heritage Crossing Station and at the Dallas Streetcar’s Oakenwald stop on Zang Boulevard.

This event is an annual effort to improve conditions and awareness of combining transit and bicycling as a viable means of green, clean and healthy transportation. Choose your energizer station this year, invite your friends and join the fun!
