DART employees will be collecting donations of adult socks, blankets, canned food and unwrapped toys for children with their annual “Stuff a Bus” campaign. The event benefits the elderly, children and area neighbors in need.

Help DART stuff a bus at the Mockingbird Station parking lot, 5465 E. Mockingbird Lane, Friday, Dec. 4, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A 40-foot long DART bus will be used to collect donations in support of two DART-employee campaigns, “Santa Cops” and “Comforting of the Souls.” The Northwest Bus Division’s “Comforting of the Souls” donates the new adult socks and blankets to area nursing homes while toys and food help families in need through the DART Police Department’s “Santa Cops.”

KKDA-FM “K-104” and KRNB “Smooth R&B 105.7” are proud sponsors of DART’s “Stuff a Bus” campaign and will be doing a live broadcast at the Mockingbird Station event. Other “Stuff a Bus” sponsors include El Hispano News, The Dallas Weekly, The Senior Source and The Second II None Motorcycle Club.
