Ride the DART Rail Orange Line to Irving Convention Center Station for Dallas Comic Con Fan Days at the Irving Convention Center, 500 W. Las Colinas Blvd. Featured in the weekend are autograph sessions, celebrity photo sessions, cosplay masquerade, panels and Q&As with media guests, artist alley, costumes, shopping and exhibits. Guests for this year’s Fan Days include Lucy Lawless, Renee O’Connor, John Rhys Davies, Jason Momoa, Michael Rooker, James Marsters, Edward James Olmos, Bonnie Wright, Ralph Macchio, C. • Ride the DART Rail Red Line, Blue Line, Green Line or Orange Line to Akard Station for the D-town Throwdown — the largest skateboarding event in North Texas and the first to include a downhill course through a 13-story garage. This event will also feature Freestyle Moto Demos, a Pro Vert contest and Street contest – where the top skaters in Texas will compete for $15,000 in cash & prizes. This event free and it takes place from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at 1200 Ross Ave in downtown Dallas. Information: dtownthrowdown.com.
