Expect detours, delays on buses traveling through downtown Dallas due to filming

DART bus passengers traveling to or through downtown Dallas should anticipate delays and detours through Thursday due to road closures around Dealey Plaza.

This week Warner Bros. crews are filming an adaptation of Steven King’s novel, “11/22/63” around Dealey Plaza. The movie is about a man that travels back in time to stop Lee Harvey Oswald from killing John F. Kennedy, Jr.

DART bus routes affected from the road closures include 1, 12, 19, 21, 35, 42, 60, 63, 155, 164, 283 and D-Link (route 722).

For others looking to get a bird’s eye view of the filming. Hop on a Red or Blue Line train traveling from West End Station to Union Station to catch the entire scene.
