Twitter user Tara Bryant spotted something peculiar on the roads in Mississippi and had to do a double-take. Yes, it was a yellow DART bus and no, you weren’t hallucinating. It’s actually a very reasonable explanation why our buses would find themselves a couple states away.
The answer is North American Bus Industries. NABI is a bus manufacturer and is responsible for making and delivering our fleet of more than 400 buses that roam the North Texas streets.
NABI is based in Anniston, Ala. so the bus you saw in Jackson, Miss. was likely a shiny, new addition to our fleet halfway through the 700-mile trip from Alabama to Dallas.
Thanks for the tweet, Tara, and keep the questions coming!
