Happening Sunday, September 20th, Uptown Dallas will be colored with PRIDE for the 32nd annual Pride Parade and Festival. In the 32 years since the event began, the parade and festival have become one of the largest LGBT celebrations in the United States. With the thousands expected to attend, parking will not be something to celebrate — not to mention detours for the parade and spectators. So what better way to join the fun than with a ride on DART?
The parade starts at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20th. The route begins at Cedar Springs Rd. and Wycliff Ave. and ends at Reverchon Park on Maple Ave. and Turtle Creek Blvd. That’s where the festival is happening from Noon – 7:00 p.m. Food, fun, music and attractions the whole family will enjoy! Admission is $5 for adults, kids 13 and under get in free. Get all your questions on the event answered here. Now let us get you there!
