Rider Insider: DART your way to a healthy heart this weekend

• Ride the DART Rail Red Line or Blue Line to Union Station for he Dallas Heart Walk on Saturday, September 12th at 9:00 a.m. at the Base of Reunion Tower, 300 Reunion Boulevard East. The Heart Walk is a three mile non-competitive event that starts at the base of Reunion Tower and goes through downtown Dallas, ending back at the base of Reunion Tower. Opening ceremonies start at 8:30 a.m. and the walk begins at 9:00 a.m. The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s premiere event for raising funds to save lives from this country’s No. 1 and No. 5 killers – heart disease and stroke. • Ride the DART Rail Green Line to Deep Ellum Station or Baylor University Medical Center Station for the launch of “Deep Ellum Second Saturday“, a new, monthly spotlight on neighborhood street art and the galleries of Deep Ellum and Exposition Park. Join in for any or all of the day’s activities, including the gallery walk, mural tours, a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, and more, all within one of Dallas’ most culturally vibrant, pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods filled with an eclectic mix of shops, boutiques, restaurants, pubs, and music venues.
