DART continues to build a better future for your North Texas. Rail service in downtown Dallas will be discontinued each weekend between Pearl/Arts District Station and West End Station. Separate shuttle routes will be in operation. Weekend construction began March 30 and will last for roughly six months. Track improvement benefits include:

• Creating a smoother ride through downtown.
• Eliminating ongoing maintenance issues.
• Increasing the number of areas where trains can switch tracks, which will reduce service disruptions.
