161-074-0219 St Pattys Day Celtic Nights 640x355 Dallas St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival will be celebrated March 16, but DART’s very own Finn says there are other ways this month to experience and explore Irish culture, including a one-night only performance by Celtic Nights at the Irving Arts Center March 8. The show, Oceans of Hope, features some of Ireland’s most talented performers. Using song, music, dance, and narration, Celtic Nights tells the story of people crossing oceans to America, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand in search of freedom and prosperity. Broadway World calls the performance “a triumphant display of sight and sound, song and dance, woe and joy.” The show is March 8, at 7:30 p.m. in the art center’s Carpenter Hall. From DART’s North Lake College Station, take bus route 401 towards Downtown Irving Heritage Crossing Station. The Irving Arts Center is located at 3333 North MacArthur Blvd. Tickets are on sale now.
