DART Adds Service for AT&T Red River Showdown Oct. 6

This Saturday, The University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma clash at the Cotton Bowl in one of college football’s biggest rivalries. DART will be ready with additional service as thousands travel to the State Fair of Texas® to attend the game or be a part of the game day atmosphere.

Pay attention to special operating plans

DART will be operating special train and bus service on Texas-OU Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., including a Fair Park circulator loop; special trains that go from Parker Road to MLK, Jr. Station; and Orange Line service that ends at Bachman Station. Some passengers may need to transfer trains or board buses to complete their trip.

This year, the game begins at 11 a.m. Give yourself extra time for travel, be patient and look for DART staff in neon yellow vests who will be at key stations to direct and help you.

Visit DART.org/RedRiverShowdown for service details or call DART Customer Information at 214-979-1111 for help with travel plans.

Make sure to read our State Fair Game Day Survival Guide so you can make a winning game plan for your trip to Fair Park.

Buy transit and fair passes using GoPass®
The GoPass mobile ticketing application makes it easy to buy tickets. The app is available for both Apple and Android.

Local Day Passes for DART Rail, local bus and the TRE from CentrePort or Dallas County stations are $6. Customers coming from Tarrant County or Denton County must purchase a Regional Day Pass for $12.

DART transit passes are good for trains, buses or both. Passes are also available at ticket vending machines located at all DART and TRE stations.

Be sure to activate your GoPass ticket before you board DART. Day Passes are only valid on the day of activation. You can also use GoPass to plan trips and get next bus or train times.

College students attending UT and OU must buy an Adult Day Pass and do not qualify for college student reduced passes. For more information, visit DART.org/students.
