Have a transit question? We have an app for that!

Technology is changing the way we live our lives every day, and that includes how we use public transportation.  DART is committed to embracing technology and ensuring that our services lead the way for public transportation across the nation. From determining the best route, to knowing when your bus will arrive, to even receiving a text that lets you know the current schedule, DART is working every day to make transit smarter, more reliable, and easier to use.

Straight to Your Phone

Remember a time before cell phones? DART knows that North Texans are more and more reliant on their phones with every passing day.  That’s why DART’s SMS text service allows you to get the most up to date information on bus or train times at your stop. Next time you’re waiting at your DART stop:

  • Look at the Stop ID. Located on DART bus stop signs on the street or on this online tool, this 5 digit Stop ID is essential information that can let you know the status of your transportation.
  • Text “DART” and the Stop ID to 41411 and you’ll receive times of service for your bus stop.

Where’s Your Stop?

Ever in a new place and wondering what your closest DART stop is? Perhaps you’re jetting off from a late lunch meeting, or trying to get home from a new museum exhibit.  It’s easy to find out your closest destination thanks to Where’s My DART Stop?® technology.  Enter in a quick street address and a map with information about the closest stop will appear.

Checking out the Routes

Want to know more specific information about the upcoming departure of your next bus before you leave the house? You don’t need a specific Stop ID to be able to view the times.  Where’s My Bus?® guides you to enter in the right information needed to search different bus routes. This tool allows you to see a quick snapshot of bus arrival times, so you can take the one you need to get you to your destination on time.

Reliably Moving You to Your Destination

DART knows that it’s important to have tools to help you use public transportation.  We are committed to moving North Texans around our region safely and efficiently.  Thanks to technology, DART is making strides to keep our transit service and tools innovative.
