DART has already welcomed hundreds of people this morning at the 21st Annual Dallas Mayor’s Back to School Fair at Fair Park. The fair will continue until 2 p.m. and is expected to draw as many as 35,000 people before the event is over.

The Fair not only helps economically disadvantaged youth get the school supplies they need to start off the new school year right, but also offers the opportunity to get health screenings, immunizations and more.

The Dallas Mayor’s Back to School Fair is taking place at Fair Park’s Automobile and Centennial buildings, next to Fair Park Station. DART’s 5 Star van is parked between the two buildings. The agency also has a booth in the Automobile Building. If you’re planning to visit the fair, take the Green Line to Fair Park Station.
