Air Force and New Mexico Fans can DART to Cotton Bowl

The rivalry is old, but the game site is new. Falcons and Lobos are headed to Dallas and the State Fair of Texas for the 34th game between the two schools on Saturday, Oct. 15. Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) light rail makes it easy for them to attend with great service directly to the legendary Cotton Bowl.

Fans can purchase a $5 Local Day Pass, good for both DART Rail and buses; by cash or credit card at ticket vending machines located at all DART stations. Make the trip even easier by purchasing a day pass in advance with the GoPass℠ mobile ticketing application for Android and Apple smartphones. Its free through Google Play or the App Store.

Riding DART gives fans a choice of two Green Line stations — Fair Park, located on Parry Avenue at the entrance to the fairgrounds, or MLK, Jr., located south of R.B. Cullum Blvd. and convenient to both the MLK fairground entrance (Gate 6) and the Cotton Bowl Stadium.

Transferring to the Green Line from Red, Orange and Blue lines can be done at any of the four downtown Dallas rail stations: West End, Akard, St. Paul or Pearl/Arts District. Trinity Railway Express (TRE) service will also be available from Fort Worth.

Additional details about DART service is available at or by calling DART Customer Information at 214-979-1111.
