Happy 98 El Fenix! Free Ride to Fun Food

Dallas Streetcar passes by El Fenix in Oak Cliff

Ride the Dallas Streetcar to the Beckley stop

The cheese enchilada dinner at El Fenix is the gateway drug to a lifetime of Tex-Mex addiction.

The legendary restaurant group is celebrating 98 years of providing that fix on Thursday, Sept. 15. The North Oak Cliff restaurant, next to the Beckley stop of the Dallas Streetcar, is marking the occasion by selling the traditional $5.98 Wednesday Cheese Enchilada Dinner Special through Sept. 25.

The Dallas Streetcar operates between Union Station and the Bishop Arts neighborhood daily between 9:30 a.m. and midnight. Information about the free service is at www.DART.org/DallasStreetcar.
