Dallas Developer Shares Thoughts on 20 Years of Light Rail

Jack MatthewsDART Rail is a tremendous asset to our region. As a developer, I look for properties that are near public transit. Currently, I am developing near four different DART stations.

It’s all about connectivity. Consumers today want to live, work and play easily, and DART Rail fits really well in that world. DART lessens the need for cars and makes for a healthier environment, as well as lowers the cost of transportation.

DART Rail already connects to streetcars, airports, and other public transit systems, interconnecting the region. Once high-speed rail moves into North Texas, it will connect to DART, making our region even more accessible via the rail network.
