Star Wars Day May the 4th graphic It’s time to put on your Jedi Robes and celebrate Star Wars Day. Here are some DARTable events:

South Irving Library – Kids’ Corner: May the Fourth Be With You

This Jedi-inspired program features the library’s diverse collection of Star Wars books, and you’ll make origami and family-friendly light sabers to take home. Kids’ Corner is open to grades 3-5.
Via Trinity Railway Express to Downtown Irving/Heritage Crossing Station, then walk 0.5 mile.

Downtown Carrollton “May the Fourth Be With You” Movie on the SquareCarrollton Spaceballs Movie on the Square
Event begins at 6 p.m. Movie screening begins at sunset (8:30 p.m.)

In a galaxy not so far away, the city of Carrollton will honor Star Wars Day with a free themed event on the Downtown Carrollton Square. Come in costume to enjoy Star Wars-themed booths, activities and photo opportunities. Since Disney will not allow the screening of any of the Star Wars films, stay for a free screening of the Star Wars parody film Spaceballs (PG-13). Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to enhance your movie-viewing experience.

Join the monthly themed pub crawl dressed up as your favorite Star Wars character. The event starts at the Twilite Lounge.
