DART to the Grande Dame of Dallas Film Fests

BLOG-- USA Film Festival ImageThe 46th annual USA Film Festival returns to the Angelika Theater April 20 – 24. The festival, located at Mockingbird Station, is dedicated not only to recognizing excellence in film, but also to bringing filmmakers and audiences together.

This year is no exception, with a variety of big-name actors and filmmakers in attendance, including:

  • Actor Alfred Molina and writer/director Ira Sachs, will be at a screening of Sachs’ new film Little Men.
  • Country music superstar Charley Pride will attend a screening of the new documentary, Country: Portraits of an American Sound. Writer/director Steven Kochones also will be on hand.
  • The Diary of Anne Frank star Millie Perkins will be there for a special repertory screening.
  • Director Steven Pomerantz will attend the debut of his Dallas-based documentary, Taking Back Oak Lawn.

Altogether there will be 24 different events and screenings.
