  • The annual TubaChristmas Concert in the Thanks-Giving Square courtyard on Christmas Eve gathers tuba and euphonium players for a one-of-a-kind holiday concert of Christmas music. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the concert is at 12 noon. Thanks-Giving Square is in downtown Dallas on the corner of Bryan, Ervay and Pacific streets.   • The sixth annual Zaxby’s Heart of Dallas Bowl will be played Saturday, Dec 26. at the Cotton Bowl Stadium with Washington and Southern Miss fighting for the trophy of the only bowl game to honor first responders. Owned and operated by ESPN Events, kickoff for the Zaxby’s Heart of Dallas Bowl is set for 1:20 p.m. (CST) with ESPN televising the game for the second-straight season. Before the game, enjoy the First Responders Fan Fest, a full exhibition area featuring interactive displays, games, pre-game performances and activities and more right outside the stadium at Gate A. The First Responders Fan Fest is fun and free for all ages and starts at 10:00 a.m. Ride the DART Green Line to <a href="http://www.dart.org/riding/stations/fairparkstation.asp”>Fair Park and MLK, Jr. stations.
