Ride the DART Rail Orange Line to Irving Convention Center Station this weekend for BrickUniverse. This event brings the whole universe of bricks together in a fun-packed family event for all ages. It will be filled with hands-on and creative fun for all. Have you ever wanted to build with LEGO® bricks for a job? At BrickUniverse, you will be meeting professional brick artists. You will also find many inspiring exhibits built out of LEGO® bricks, seminars for learning more about the bricks, games to play, thousands of LEGO® bricks to build with, and many vendors selling anything and everything LEGO® – including toys, sets, and minifigures. This is a fun-packed family event not to be missed! The Irving Convention Center is located at 500 W. Las Colinas Blvd. Information: brickuniverse.org.

Ride the DART Rail Blue Line to Downtown Garland Station for the annual Quilt Display presented by the Garland Quilt Guild at the Granville Arts Center, 200 N. Fifth St. The Garland Quilt Guild boasts 175 members, and the quilt display is a small offering of its members’ many talents. The Garland Quilt Guild provides educational opportunities for its members as well as service commitments to the Garland community. The exhibit is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. and during performances. Information: www.garlandarts.com.
