Rider Insider: Find fun activities this weekend in Dallas-Fort Worth

• Ride the DART Rail Green Line to Deep Ellum Station for the annual Día de los Muertos Festival from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Latino Cultural Center. Come in for an hour or stay the whole day and participate in arts and crafts, sugar skulls, face painting, Aztec dance and a free movie screening of The Book of Life. This year the LCC is partnering with ArtLoveMagic, a local non-profit organization that creates live experiences which connect local artists with the Dallas community. ArtLoveMagic will be providing arts activities throughout the day along with live painters on the plaza. The festival is free and open to the public. • Ride DART Bus Route 451 from Forest Lane Station for the first Dallas Kosher BBQ Championship. Under the supervision of rabbinical experts and the world-renowned Kansas City Barbeque Society, teams from around Texas and beyond will compete in a delectable, family-friendly event that is sure to draw a big crowd to the Sunnyland Furniture Company, 7879 Spring Valley Rd. in Dallas.
