Update September 6, 5 p.m.: DART has completed work in Plano and will resume rail service at Bush Turnpike, Downtown Plano and Parker Road stations Monday. All DART services will be on a Sunday schedule for the Labor Day holiday.
DART construction activity in Downtown Plano will require substitution of shuttle buses for Red Line trains between the three northernmost stations during the Labor Day weekend.
On Saturday, Sunday and Monday, September 5, 6 and 7, service will terminate at Bush Turnpike Station. Buses will meet each arriving train and transport passengers to Downtown Plano and Parker Road stations.
Southbound shuttles will serve Parker Road and Downtown Plano stations and transfer passengers back to trains at Bush Turnpike Station. Trains will depart Bush Turnpike Station at their regularly scheduled times.
Buses will load and unload at the red “Rail Disruption” bus stops located at each station. Customers are encouraged to allow extra travel time on those days.
DART Releases Labor Day Schedule, Effective Monday, September 7
Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will operate a modified schedule Monday, September 7 for the Labor Day holiday.
DART bus and light rail services will follow a Sunday schedule.
• The Trinity Railway Express commuter rail will not operate.
• DART Paratransit services for customers with disabilities will operate on a Saturday schedule. The Paratransit Scheduling Center will be closed on Labor Day. Customers may call Thursday, September 3, to book their trips through Monday, September 7, and Friday, September 4, to book their trips through Wednesday, September 9. Customers may call Tuesday, September 8, to book trips through Thursday, September 10. X-Press Booking, Web Booking and holiday voice mail will also be available.
• DART’s administrative offices, Customer Care Center, and Lost and Found will be closed. Customers with questions about schedules may still contact DART’s Customer Information Center at 214-979-1111 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
