Historic Photo: See downtown Dallas’ Pacific Avenue sans DART

The Dallas Observer takes a look at Pacific Avenue just east of DART’s Akard Station long before DART’s light rail existed in the latest Ghosts of Dallas photo series.

The photo on the left shows the area near Akard Station more than 30 years before DART began laying track for its light rail. The photo on the right shows the modern day look of the same area.

Click through to take a closer look at how the area changed with the addition of the DART Rail and other properties.
