• Ride the DART Rail Green Line to Fair Park Station this weekend for KwanzaaFest. The free event has family friendly activities and services include mini-concerts with local singers, dancers and performers; a variety of vendors; dedicated children's activities; health screenings; and more. KwanzaaFest takes place Saturday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-6 p.m. in the Automobile Building, 1010 First Ave. Information: www.fairpark.org. • Ride the DART Rail Red Line to Parker Road Station, then DART Bus Route 350 Saturday for Plano Lions Annual Christmas Parade. Celebrate the season with holiday floats, high school bands and cheerleaders, city mascots and more. The parade starts in the parking lot of the Plano ISD administration building. It will travel west on 15th St., then north on Independence and east on Parkhaven ending in the parking lot of Plano Senior High School. Parade The parade begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 11:00 a.m. Information: christmas.planolions.org.
