• Ride the DART Rail Red Line or Blue Line to Convention Center Station all weekend for the Texas LEGO KidsFest. The event brings all of the creative hands-on, minds-on fun of LEGO building and experiences together in one activity- and entertainment-packed family event for children of all ages and builders of all skills and interests. From individual building to family challenges, there is lots to see and do at LEGO KidsFest. There is something for every member of the family. All activities are included in the price of admission. Each of the sessions offers the same interactive activities and play areas. No session is better than another to attend. Texas LEGO KidsFest will be held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Dallas Convention Center, Hall F, located at 650 South Griffin St. Information: www.legokidsfest.com/dallas. • Ride the DART Rail Blue Line to Downtown Garland Station Monday for Garland Labor Day Exchange Event in Downtown Garland is presented by the Noon Exchange Club of Garland. The fun kicks off with a parade at 9 a.m. Other activities begin at 11 a.m., including a classic car show, chili cook-off, great food, live entertainment, kids' area with face painting, pony rides and petting zoo, vendors, bounce houses and more. The event will be held on and around the downtown square at State and Sixth streets from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Information: garlandlabordayevent.com.
