• Ride the DART Rail Green Line to Fair Park Station or MLK, Jr. Station for Dog Bowl from 1-5 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon. Teeming with tail-wagging fun, the Dog Bowl will feature an animal-only agility course, a pet/owner look-alike contest, splash pools, demos, giveaways, exhibits, music and more. Trainers, veterinarians and pet product vendors will be on site inside the Cotton Bowl, along with local dog clubs, rescue groups and other animal welfare organizations with adoptable dogs at the "tail" gating zone. Please note that dogs on DART vehicles must be in a pet container. Information: fairpark.org. • Ride the DART Bus Route 11 or D-Link (Route 722) to the Dallas Cinco de Mayo 2014 Big Parade and Festival on Saturday, May 3rd. The Parade starts at 11 a.m. The Festival is held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and features live bands on two stages (Main Stage located at 600 W. Jefferson and Finale Fiesta Stage located at 600 S. Polk) and folkloric dance; deejays on every block, and a car show - right there on Jefferson Blvd. Information: www.dallascincodemayo.net. Find more events like the North Texas LPGA Shootout and the Cottonwood Art Festival event on our Rider Insider Online Calendar or in the brochures found on DART light rail vehicles or buses.
