$1,000 up for grabs in DART's 2014 Student Art Contest

Update: See all of the winners of the 2014 Student Art Contest here. Original entry: DART is now accepting entries for the 2014 Student Art Contest. The contest gives local artists in grades K-12 the chance to win prizes and even have his or her artwork displayed inside DART vehicles, at stations and on the exterior of buses. Each year, students are asked to create a poster represents a specific theme picked by DART. This year the theme is "Off We Go!" As for the nitty gritty, awards will be given to four age categories with the Best in Show winner taking home the $1,000 prize. Posters should be 17 inches wide by 11 inches tall, only in the horizontal format. Media may include crayons, paint, markers, colored pencils and digital art. The DART logo must appear on any drawings of buses or trains. Click here to see last year's winners and honorably mentions.
